기독교복음선교회(세칭 JMS)측은 7월25일자 보도자료에서 “기독교복음선교회 회원들이 지난 7월24일 대전지방법원 앞에서 ‘정명석 목사의 재판이 여론이 아닌 증거재판주의로 가야 한다’라며 시위를 진행했다”고 전하고 “회원들은 ‘조작된 녹취파일을 전 세계에 거짓 방송한 다큐멘터리 제작팀은 사죄하라‘, ‘정명석 목사를 명예훼손한 반JMS활동가를 규탄한다’, ‘재판 핵심증거 녹취파일 조작’ 이란 팻말을 들고 현재 진행중인 정명석 목사의 재판이 공정하게 진행되어야 한다 외쳤다”고 알렸다.
