글로벌사랑실천연합(GLAU)이 주최한 제1회 GLAU문화축제 ‘솔향기 시화전’이 오는 15일부터 20일까지 서울 인사동 갤러리 라메르에서 열린다.

솔향기 시화전에는 주요한 시인 외 작가 10여명의 시와 그림이 출품됐다.

주요한 시인의 ‘하나님께서 마스크를 끼고 살라 하신다’ 시는 코로나 시대를 통해 만물의 소중함과 인생에 대한 성찰의 메시지를 담고 있다.

또한 이번 시화전에는 정명석 기독교복음선교회 총회장의 시 ‘운명’을 비롯한 9편도 전시된다. 정명석 총회장의 이번 전시 작품에는 2000년대 해외선교 당시 노모의 위급한 소식을 듣고 그리움과 슬픈 마음을 담아 써내려간 시 '눈물'도 포함됐다.

정명석 총회장은 1995년 월간 ‘문예사조’를 통해 시인으로 등단해 베스트셀러 시집 ‘영감의 시’를 발표했다. 이외 베트남전쟁 참전기 ‘전쟁은 잔인했다. 사랑과 평화다’, 설교집 ‘생명의 말씀’ 다수, 새벽 설교집 ‘새벽 단상’, 잠언집 ‘하늘말 내말 1∼19’, 시집 ‘영감의 시 1∼3’, ‘시로 말한다’, ‘시의 여인’, ‘만남’, 선교회 교리집 ‘구원의 말씀’ 등의 저서를 펴냈다. 2011년 세계적인 회화전 ‘아르헨티나 아트페어’에서 대표작가로 선정되어 뛰어난 작품성을 인정받았고 12회의 개인전을 열었다.
