Many thorn bushes occupied the flower
stands. They looked so unclean and ugly that I wanted to sew them off. During
working, my hand and arms were stung. The thorn bushes reminded me of the
parable in the Bible. They represent the worries of this life
and the deceitfulness of wealth which choke the word and make them unfruitful.
I wanted to sew them off completely at the thought of the parable.
One small tree was found after cleaning the thorn bushes in one of the flower stands. Although it was alive, it looked thin and unfruitful because the sunshine was totally covered by the disgusting thorn bushes.
The experience enlightened me. If someone ignore the thorn bushes（also the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth） and let them grow, the tree will be completely winded around and could not get the sunshine (God’s Word) someday.
When you make a decision to sew them off in order to save your religious life, you could be hurt by their sharp thorns. So it is necessary to prevent yourself from being hurt by equipping with armor and weapons before action.
