야심작 소나무 전지작업 Prunig pine trees in the masterpiece.

 야심작의 소나무 전지가 한창입니다. People have been pruning pine trees in the Yashim (ambition) rock.

 야심작에 정말 소나무가 많은데 이렇게 하나하나 손질을 하고 있습니다. There are a lot of trees in it. They are trimming trees one by one.

 정범석 수련원장님이 항상 직접 이렇게 전지작업을.. Bum-Suk Jung, a retreat director, is always doing it in person.

 전지하고 떨어진 가지들은 봉사자들이 정리하고 있습니다. Volunteers are gathering fallen branches.

 작은 소나무도 정성스럽게. A small pine tree needs to be cared carefully.

 큰 가지가 잘린 나무에는 이렇게 약도 발라줍니다.^^ people are putting an ointment on some trees which boughs are cut off

 나무가 많으니 이 작업도 몇일이 걸리네요.^^ It has taken a few days to finish it all.

야심작.

말 그대로 야심작인 돌조경에 소나무가 없다면

뭔가 허전했겠죠?


이렇게 만들어져 있는 야심작이지만

늘 손길이 가야 더 변화되고 도태되지 않고

더 빛이 납니다.


우리의 모습 또한 야심작과 같이 빛이 나길...^^






The yashim (ambition) rock.

If there are no pine trees on it, it might looks empty.

The landscape has been completed over a decade,

it always need great care.

We also have to seek better things instead of being

content with the current reality.

With this hard and effort, we will be able to gain

something betters like the majestic Wolmyeongdong.
